What does this experience mean for you?
According to a recent Houston Chronicle article, prosecutors are “overburdened and overworked.” This means that prosecutors simply do not have the time to adequately evaluate their cases before the trial date. Oftentimes, people charged with crimes have their cases pending for months or even years before it is properly evaluated. Attorney Shannon Drehner understands that having criminal charges pending can take a huge toll on the accused and the loved ones of the accused. Attorney Shannon Drehner, using her years of prosecutorial experience, can give you an accurate and thorough assessment of your case. Sometimes, that assessment may be that the case should go to trial. Other times, a more creative disposition of the case is appropriate.
